Following the success of Ji Chang Wook and Im YoonA's drama series "The K2," several sources claimed that the two are possibly dating. However, recent reports immediately slammed this issue.

"The K2" lead casts sent fans fainting over the bodyguard romance drama series. In fact, their palpable chemistry created rumors that they would make a good couple.

In interview articles published, Ji Chang Wook and Im YooNa reportedly began to build a friendship after they filmed the romantic scene in Barcelona, Spain, which was shot at the early stage of filming but aired at the end of the series.

Because of the noted closeness between Ji Chang Wook and Im YoonA, viewers continue to expect about how good the two make a good couple. The 29-year-old actor shared some of his thoughts with Kpop Herald.

"I really want to date, but I have to fulfill my military obligation," the Hallyu heartthrob said. "So, dating probably won't be good for me and my partner."

On December 1, the actor brushed off the romance rumors with his "The K2" co-star by addressing the issue.

"The dating rumors involving YoonA are not true," the actor said.

"I just worked hard and, again, a lot of people came to misunderstand this time. So I thought, 'Again?' and just laughed. I've also talked to YoonA about these rumors and we just laughed it off," the actor added.

"I always try to be very considerate of the actress. I think good acting results when working together in a comfortable environment," "The K2" lead actor further added. "And that also helps to increase the viewers' focus but that tends to lead to misunderstandings. I think that's what happened again this time. There isn't anything special between YoonA and me. It'll be perfect to describe us as close oppa-dongsaeng."

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is all set to appear in new web drama, "First Kiss for the Seventh Time." And Im YooNa will star in the period drama "The King Loves" alongside Im Si-wan and "Cooperation" alongside Hyunbin and Yoo Hae-jin.
