"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" has been released a month ago, making it the 3rd game by Bandai Namco from the Anime hit "Sword Art Online." If you just got the game and don't know where to start, you can check out our guide for beginners.

Once you got the hang of the game, you'll be fighting with a lot of monsters every now and then. Here's a video by CVSPPF to help us in fighting those monsters. CVSPPF says that the guide contains tips that are basic to advanced level, so these shouldn't be so hard to grasp.

Jump hacking

As CVSPPF says, some players think that a way to have your combo up and running is to just hack away at the enemies. However by jump hacking you eliminate a bit of your attack cooldown allowing you to execute more attack in a short amount of time. To execute this, just attack while jumping and do this continuously. Knowledge about the monster's attack pattern is the key for a successful barrage of attacks this way.

Wave dashing

This is done by executing an ability while in the middle of the jump. CVSPPF in this case, uses the "Throwing knife" ability which he does outside of combat. This will give you an acceleration you need when traversing some areas which is quite helpful when looking for something.

Note that by doing this, there's a chance that you can trigger the aggro of some monster accidentally when they're in your way.

Advanced wave dashing

This time you'll be using abilities which are meant for damaging monsters. Of course this won't be used as a way moving faster but rather as an offensive strike for monsters. Doing this will launch you forward while executing the attack, doing some damage while dodging their attacks. This is helpful when you have a group of monsters that overwhelms you since you can't fight them one on one.

CVSPPF says this technique needs time to get used to but once you do, it could make way to some options that you think are not possible with normal attack patterns. So take time to practice and experiment on your abilities to see which fits your current situation.

Use "Killing blow" for cancelling

With this technique, instead of its usual usage, you'll use the ability Killing blow to cancel. Cancel what, you ask? Like when you're in the middle of executing an ability but the monster is now trying to attack you and you need to parry - that's when you need the Killing blow. Executing this ability will stop the current animation of your ability (which is in the middle of executing) and gives you time to reset your position so you can prioritize on doing what you need to do, like parrying enemy attacks.
