"The Motherload" episode with Paige and Veronica's confrontation in "Scorpion" Season 3 is said to have failed to live up to viewers' expectation. Still, episode 10 promises a fun chapter as Walter swims in the pits to save a soul.

While many viewers expected a lot in episode 9 with Veronica's introduction, some did not seem to like how it went. As seen last Monday, Paige's mother tried to reconnect with her daugher after realizing how accomplished she is now. Veronica met the Scorpion team in the warehouse that she said she bought.

Veronica apologizes for her mishaps. But Paige immediately told everyone that her mother can never be trusted, as she went in and out of the jail when Paige was young. Although the storyline seems easy to follow, the direction and dynamism of mother and daughter roles were not convincing, as per TV Fanatic.

The publication has reviewed "Scorpion" season 3 episode 9 2 out of 5 ratings. It says that there was no emotional connection with Veronica and none of her lines felt sincere. It is also notes that Veronica's story has a lot of holes which do not add up to the episode.

This review is also supported by CarterMatt, which graded the episode B+ for the same reasons, and that Paige and Veronica scenes take longer than a few minutes to get through it.

Episode 9 may disappoint some fanatics. "Scorpion" Season 3 Episode 10 promises a fun filled episode. CarterMatt expects the latest installment will have more fun scenes as Walter takes on the challenge to dive in the deadly La Brea Tar Pits to save a trapped woman.

As per "Scorpion" Season 3 episode 10 synopsis, "Walter must swim through the deadly La Brea Tar Pits when Team Scorpion helps a woman trapped in the tar before she runs out of oxygen. Also, without Paige's knowledge, her mother, Veronica (guest star Lea Thompson), "helps" Ralph maximize his troop cookie sales."

Yes, you read it right. Veronica will still be gracing the upcoming episode. But let us watch what "Scorpion" Season 3 Episode 10 will bring to the table on December 5th.
