Samsung users were not so happy with the pace at which the comany started rolling out the Android Marshmallow. The tech giant is buckling down this time to release the latest Android 7.0 Nougat to its still recent gadgets like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Tab S2, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

The South Korean company revealed the Galaxy Beta Program to the Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 edge in select markets. The users of the gadgets in Europe have gotten the second beta test as well. This has allowed them to have a trial of Android 7.0 Nougat and settle the glitches if any before it is rolled out publicly.

Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Tab S2 is being created, according to SamMobile, and they will receive a new firmware update soon.

Samsung has affirmed that it would end the beta trial of Android 7.0 Nougat by mid-December, which implies the final rollout could start before the year is over or right on at the beginning of new year. Passing by the reports, it seems like the OS will be initially released to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge before heading on to others.

Smartphones like the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7 Batman version, Galaxy S7 Olympic release, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 Ironman version, and Galaxy S6 Active will get the new firmware update, but it is not certain if other mainstream handsets from A, J and C series will get it too.

Android 7.0 Nougat will accompany certain elements, for example, Grace UX, multi-window, answer notifications, Extra power productivity, Google Assistant, VR interface, Seamless upgrades, Data saver, Improved record program, Instant Apps, packaged notifications, and enhanced Java 8 language support.
