Microsoft's Xbox One Scorpio is, indeed, going to be expensive, but in what extent will this statement hold true? Are customers ready to dish out some serious cash or have they already set their expectations?

A recent video from Levelup shows Phil Spencer, Microsoft Xbox's head, stating about some details on the Xbox One S, which is intended to be the more affordable option. While he's at it, he also told that the Xbox One Project Scorpio will be way above the Xbox One S's price range.

This isn't any news to fans and consumers who had been religiously following the development and updates on Microsoft's supposedly, most powerful gaming console platform. More often than not, consumers and gamers see the upcoming Project Scorpio way above the PlayStation 4 Pro's league.

"We have not announced the pricing yet, but I want to make sure that the investment we are putting into the product of Scorpio meets the demands of the higher-end consumer and that will be a higher price." - he told in the interview.

Some say that the Xbox One Project Scorpio will be priced somewhere near the PlayStation 4 Pro. This may be the case, though some estimates the console to be going somewhere being $399 - $499. It could even be more as Microsoft touted Project Scorpio advantage over the PlayStation 4 Pro not being able to actually dish out some serious real native 4K gaming experience. This may or may not change though.

With 8 CPU cores, 320 GB/s Memory bandwith, 6 Teraflops of power, true 4K gaming, and hi-fidelity VR. The Xbox One Project Scorpio will be a thing of real beauty, though with such beauty comes a price and that price would be something enough to make a huge gaping hole in the customers' pockets.
