Capcom's next installment to its longest running horror game will be getting a pricey bundle. "Resident Evil 7 Collector's Edition" will be priced at 99.98 euros and is going to include a lot of goodies, except one.
Apparently, GameStop Italy posted a "Resident Evil 7: Collector's Edition" product bundle and odd as it may seem, the bundle does not include the game itself, which is very odd as this could be the first time that people will see a collector's edition game without the game itself.
Gametransfers was able to get a glimpse of the bundle posted on the site, though the link is dead right now, which might hint that there was an error in the post. However, visiting the link above won't work as the post had been removed at the time of writing this post.
The bundle includes an artbook commemorating the series' 20 years, lithographs with envelope, three alternative covers for the game, exclusive DLC for every platform and a 16 GB USB drive desgined in the form of the infamous decapitated finger in the "Resident Evil 7" demo.
The collector's edition is to be released on January 24 next year and it is the same date where the game gets released. Some may be a bit skeptical about getting the deal as it does not include the game and is a bit pricey without it.
Still, fans can put their hopes up as the post was deleted for some time now, which actually suggests that there might be some corrections to be made. If not, then it is now the perfect time to contemplate whether the collector's edition is worth the extra money that's technically more expensive than the game.
Still, fans of the series may not mind the extra cash on the "Resident Evil 7 Collector's Edition" to celebrate the series' long life and its return to its isolated horror roots.
