"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has been out since February of this year, and since then fans have been going crazy on playing the game - either with local or online matches. With some players even going as far as following the story of the Anime or Manga, one can think that it's better if the game itself can keep up with the latest, content-wise and story-wise.

If you've been following the Manga until the end, you'll obviously crave for more right? Wonder if Boruto could keep up with his father's skill and techniques? You might also be curious about the strength of Sarada, Sakura and Sasuke's child. Or you might want to find out more about Mitsuki, Orochimaru's rumored "son."

Physical Release

With that, Bandai Namco has announced on a recent post that the game's upcoming expansion "Road to Boruto" will be released on February 3, 2017 as a physical package for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The physical package will include "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" along with the expansion "Road to Boruto". While current owners of the game will have the digital version of the expansion available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam.

Features

In this post by Gematsu, Bandai Namco announced that the next generation characters - Boruto, Sarada, and even Mitsuki will be available. Here's a brief description of Mitsuki based on the website (might contain spoilers):

"The 'son' of Orochimaru shows great promise, and his talent in the Ninja Arts makes him a great addition to the Team Konohamaru! Team Konohamaru will also work together in an awesome Team Ultimate Jutsu, where the strength of each members will add up in a devastating combo!"

Aside from those three, Bandai Namco also teased that there will be an additional line up of characters including Hokage Naruto and Sasuke's Wandering Shinobi version along with a "New Setting" for New Hidden Leaf Village.
