Although there are a few months to go before Apple unveils its next generation iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5, but the tech giant never leaves any opportunity to trigger excitement among its fanboys. Apple is gearing up for the annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) being held in San Francisco next month, where Apple is expected to introduce iOS 6. And, reportedly, the new OS has already been spotted on Application Usage logs.
As reported by 9to5Mac, app developers have started noticing iOS 6 in application usage logs from analytics software. Surely, Apple is giving a test run to the new iOS from its Cupertino base. However, this is not the first time when Apple has been caught giving iOS 6 a test run. The first time iOS 6 was caught in server logs was just before the release of third generation iPad. At that time Apple was reportedly giving a pilot run to iOS 6 on the new iPad.
What is so exciting about iOS 6? Bringing new software features, iOS 6 will roll-out as an update to existing iGadgets, while iPhone 5 will come pre-loaded with it out of the box. Reportedly, Apple has also developed its own mapping solution. Apple may unveil a new Maps app with realistic 3D mode at WWDC 2012.
Rumors are high that Apple can bring smart gestures to iGadgets with iOS 6. Social networking integrating will get updated with Facebook support. Reportedly, Apple may also tweak lockscreen and notification panel.
Apple has recently rolled out iOS 5.1, but Apple fans are demanding for a next generation iOS than just a mere update. A big question of the moment is, whether iOS 6 will roll-out in the market anytime soon? Or, Apple will hold the line for iPhone 5, which is anticipated for fall release?
