With Capcom's recent statement regarding its support for the upcoming Nintendo Switch, "Monster Hunter" might be one of its launch titles. Some may oppose the idea, but the release date leak may prove otherwise.

Capcom recently made a comment regarding where it stands with the development of the Nintendo Switch and showed that it will be supporting the console. This gives the consumers and the fans a good chance of seeing standard Capcom titles gracing the Switch and most of them talk about "Monster Hunter."

Capcom never made any comment specifically with a launch title involving "Monster Hunter" or even the upcoming "Monster Hunter XX" release, but they have mentioned something about not releasing a cross-platform game if ever it does not match the play-style for either the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Still, Capcom is still committed to release titles for the console.

It is highly unlikely that any "Monster Hunter" game will be released for either the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and the latest XX addition is scheduled to be released for another Nintendo platform. It is easy enough to guess that one way or the other, a "Monster Hunter" game or even "Monster Hunter 5" will be announced soon enough.

As Forbes have covered before, there's technically no reason why a "Monster Hunter" game will not be released for the Switch, especially since it is one of the solid sales driver in Japan and the rest of the world.

Community speculations also present something of an educated guess about "Monster Hunter" being a launch title as it coincidentally matches the release dates as JorRaptor's theory. The Nintendo Switch is believed to be coming out on March 17, while "Monster Hunter XX" is scheduled to be released a day after in Japan.

A "Monster Hunter" game would prove to be a huge sales booster and a perfect launch title to be paired with games like "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of The Wild" and "Super Mario Run."
