The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State warriors might enter into a deal. Reports claimed that the Warriors is eyeing Kings' power forward DeMarcus Cousins in exchange for their shooting guard Klay Thompson.

Morning News USA reported that the Golden State Warriors is planning to rebuild their roster despite having a strong core lineup consisting of small guard Kevin Durant, point guard Stephen Curry, Thompson, and power forward Draymond Green. It is stated that the Warriors want to bring in Cousins onto their roster in order to be able to provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

Even though there is no official word on whether the Sacramento Kings are ready to trade Cousins, the Warriors are reported to be keen on bringing him in to further enhance their defensive skills and thus, put up a high score on the board during the season.

On the other hand, few reports stated that the chances that the Sacramento Kings will trade Cousins before the February's trade deadline are not that high. Besides, the NBA trade rumors hinted that the different teams are having a second thought on bringing Cousins on to their roster as the Kings is currently asking for an unrealistic price in his exchange.

Nonetheless, it is rumored that the deal between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings might happen as the Kings might be interested in bringing Thompson onto their roster. Reports suggested that Thompson is expected to provide the Kings with excellent offensive skills, which will help them to provide a tough competition to other teams in the Western Conference.

However, none of the teams have officially commented on the rumored trade scenario involving DeMarcus Cousins and Klay Thompson. So, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
