Since its launch, the Windows phones are staggering in the mass market. However, the Microsoft Lumia 950 continues to fight with a lot of competitive features. Here are the LG V10 and the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) from Android to compare with Lumia 950.
Starting with design and display, the LG V10 features the biggest screen with 5.7", followed by the Galaxy J7 which has 5.5", and then the Lumia 950's 5.2". However, the LG and Lumia phones have equally better resolutions.
The Lumia 950 and the Galaxy J7 come with AMOLED display, while the LG V10 has IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 coating.
In terms of performance, the LG V10 and the Lumia 950 feature a similar hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocking at 1.8GHz. Comparatively, the Galaxy J7 comes with octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with 1.6 GHz clocking speed.
Comparing the memory, the V10 leads with 32/64 GB internal storage with 4 GB RAM, while the J7 lags behind with only 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The Windows brand is powered by the Luia 950 with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage space. All have expandable storage up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD slot.
The one feature Microsoft always boasts about is the camera of its Lumia 950. The stunning Carl Zeiss optics coupled with triple-LED RGB flash in a 20 MP snapper makes it the ultimate camera phone. The other two phones also have good cameras with LG V10 featuring a 16 MP with OIS and LED Flash and the Galaxy J7 (2016) having 13 MP with LED Flash. The three have similar front cameras with 5MP lens.
In terms of security, the V10 has fingerprint sensors, while the Lumia 910 comes with IRIS scanner.
The Galaxy J7 (2016) runs on the second latest Android Marshmallow, while the Lumia 950 comes with Windows 10 OS. The V10 runs on the comparatively outdated Android Lollipop.
The Microsoft Lumia 910 leads in photography, battery life, and fares well in performance with the LG V10. In second place, the LG phone has a bigger screen, better camera and faster processor than the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016).
