Soon, the Patch 1.05 that some players have been waiting for will be rolled out as 2K games already submitted the update for "NBA 2K17." This will bring a host of new fixes, and unfortunately, will get rid of glitches that will prevent certain cheats.
With the recent update provided by 2K, it could be expected that the fifth update to the game will be rolling out soon though there's no specifics regarding which platforms and what fixes will exactly be included. The date as to when the patch will be officially available for download is still unconfirmed.
One particular issue that 2K had been eyeing on is the PROAM divergence as well as the issue that prevents roster updates in taking place.
Speculations also say that besides the PROM-AM divergence and the roster problems, free throw bugs and Finisher issues will also be addressed this time. These are some of the most problematic issues in the game that sometimes even cause game-breaking bugs.
According to some rumors and a particular post on Reddit, the company may hold back for a bit more regarding when the roster update will be released due to a high probability of MyCareer saves getting bloated or damaged entirely.
It would be most convenient for those waiting to update the roster once the patch 1.05 is officially rolled out in order to avoid any problems in the future regarding this particular feature.
Still, as the update aims to fix these problems, some fans are also in doubt as to whether it will actually address it or worsen things by further damaging the game's stability as what the other updates did.
Particular glitches that lets player technically cheat the game may still remain, while others will be soon patched up so it would be best to take advantage of them now, such as this guide on earning VC fast.
