Electronic Arts has revealed its release date window for the upcoming sequel for "Star Wars: Battlefront" during an earnings call.

According to Polygon, Electronic Arts Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen confirmed that the next "Star Wars: Battlefront" title will be released "a year from now," which puts it on a possible Fall 2017 release date window.

"We're working very hard on making sure that is an extremely deep and engaging offering," Jorgensen said.

Earlier this year, during its press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, Electronic Arts has announced that the sequel for "Star Wars: Battlefront" is in the works, according to IGN.

The next game is said to have" bigger and better worlds" than the first title, and would pull inspiration from the newer "Star Wars" movies.

Electronic Arts has also revealed this information on its previous financial report, and also confirmed that the company is aiming to release at least one "Star Wars" game per year "over the next 3 to 4 years."

Electronic Arts, who currently holds exclusive rights to all "Star Wars" video game licenses except for mobile devices, has a lot of other "Star Wars" games in the pipeline all throughout the next few years. Former "Uncharted" writer Amy Hennig will be releasing an all new "Star Wars" IP via Visceral Studios, while Respawn Entertainment is developing a "Star Wars" third-person action game.

Meanwhile, Electronic Arts will be releasing its fourth and final expansion for "Star Wars Battlefront," the "Rogue One: Scarif" DLC, this December.

Writing on the official "Star Wars" game website, "Star Wars Battlefront" producer Paul Keslin confirmed the Holiday release for the last expansion for the game, along with other exciting news for "Star Wars Battlefront" fans.

"This December, you'll be able to discover characters, maps, and more from the upcoming movie in this exciting new digital expansion, featuring the tropical planet of Scarif," Keslin said. "Prepare to band together on the battlefront for an epic 'Star Wars' adventure."

While the producer has not specified a date in December, this information supports the rumor that the "Scarif DLC" will be released to coincide with the upcoming "Star Wars" flick, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."
