While the game isn't simply a few more stretches away, "Resident Evil 7" is already showing promise. Its latest trailers revealed the game's approach with combat and puzzles and how these will affect the game's immersive surroundings.

The newest addition to the series of videos being released by CAPCOM shows Vol. 7 and Vol. 8, which hinted how the game's object exploration mechanic will go about.

The Vol.7 titled "A Closer Look" shows how the players would be able to examine the objects and clues in-game.

As shown in the video above, the players will have the ability to fully rotate objects in 360 degrees on any possible direction. Some objects may also be further examined by interacting with certain switches or hinges.

To add immersion in the game, it would appear that the game's time will not stop as opposed to what players got used to with older entries in the series. This has been a thing with the PlayStation 2 titles like "Resident Evil Outbreak." This means that players are still vulnerable to any surprise attacks lying in wait.

The second video above titled "Imagination" is somewhat similar to the first one, though it shows more in-depth observation of the objects, especially with the use of lights and shadows. If anything, this hints the game's many puzzle scenarios where players might find solutions using certain world-related physics and mechanics.

Just like how the player in the video is trying to use several objects' shadows along with the spider picture on the wall, which is supposed to unlock or grant player something in order to proceed or to unlock something.
