After the smashing success of "The Witcher" series, CD Projekt RED is now set to release yet another potential masterpiece, sci-fi role playing game "Cyberpunk 2077."

It is a little too early to expect anything from CD Projekt RED right now. However, gaming fans, especially those who loved "The Witcher," cannot wait to find out what the next game has in store for them.

Here's everything we know about "Cyberpunk 2077" so far.

Seamless Multiplayer

CD Project RED has applied for grant regarding "Seamless Multiplayer." Below is the actual statement for the grant (via Gamepressure)

"A complex technology for making unique multiplayer gameplay mechanics, including the ability to search out for opponents, manage game session, replicate objects, as well as support for different game modes along with a unique set of dedicated tools."

Going multiplayer is a new concept for CD Projekt RED, with the studio diving into its first foray into full multiplayer for "Cyberpunk 2077." The indie studio is also working on another online multiplayer title, "The Witcher" spin-off "Gwent: The Witcher Card Game," which started its closed beta testing earlier this week.

Vehicle Combat, Bikes, Flying Vehicles Confirmed?

It also looks like we will be getting some flying machines in the game as well. On the CD Project RED jobs page, the developer is looking for the following: Vehicle Artist, Vehicle Gameplay Designer and Vehicle Gameplay Programmer. These apparently would be the ones responsible for bringing vehicles to live in "Cyberpunk 2077."

It also looks like we will be getting some flying machines in the game, as the daily responsibility of the Vehicle Gameplay Programmer includes "creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles."

Vehicle artists are also expected to come up with various designs for the robots and other vehicles in the game. CD Projekt RED also hinted at possible motorcycles in the game, as evidenced by this spiffy looking GIF.

Why Is CD Projekt RED Silent About The Game?

CD Projekt Red has amibitious plans for "Cyberpunk 2077", and is hoping to surpass the level that "The Witcher" series has set, according to Eurogamer. This is why the studio is not putting the game out there unless it exceeds all expectations.

"'Witcher 3' set a certain bar and we definitely cannot go lower," CD Projekt Red's co-founder Marcis Iwinski said. "It's always about improving and making new, pretty stuff, storytelling games and mechanics and what not."

Iwinski also said that the studio will not talk about "Cyberpunk 2077" until the game is ready.

Fans are excited to find out what multiplayer features will be in store for "Cyberpunk 2077," but they would have to wait for now. With the game's massive features, it looks like people would have to wait until 2018 for the game to be fully realized.
