It looks like two wrestling legends were pulled out from "WWE 2K17" before it was released this month.

The popular wrestling sim, launched in Oct . 11, boasts a massive lineup of WWE Superstars, both current and former, and 2K Sports promised a lot more additions to the roster via paid DLC packs.

One notable future feature in the game is the Hall of Fame Showcase mode, where players can recreate matches of their favorite Hall of Famers like Sting, The Fabulous Freebirds, Jacqueline, Big Boss Man and more.

However, two WWE legends were said to be absent in the current roster, as well as any of the future DLC packs for"WWE 2K17."

According to Power Up Gaming, recently inducted Hall of Famer Stan Hansen was supposed to be part of the Hall of Fame Showcase DLC, but was apparrently left out at the last minute.

Another legendary WWE superstar, Canadian Rick "The Model" Martel, was also not part of the roster, although his theme song "The Model" is included in WWE 2K17's credits.

Both names are also included in "WWE 2K17"'s community creations mode, where fans can share their own custom grapplers, logos and more. Both Hansen's and Martel's names are searchable in the superstar hashtags for the mode, which further supports the fact that these legends are supposed to be in the game.

2K Sport has yet to comment about this matter.

In other news, "WWE 2K17"'s new Community Creations mode is making quite the impression on fans of the game, with tons of custom arenas, championships and logos being downloaded daily.

The top three most downloaded custom championships are the WWE Universal Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championships and SmackDown Women's Championship, according to Real Sport 101.
