"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is just a few more stretches away from being released, but Treyarch isn't abandoning the fans that still play "Black Ops 3" with its recent update. Improvements are implemented, making the game more balanced and enjoyable than ever.

The latest update, which is version 1.18 for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is packed with a number of new weapons, game-balancing changes and general stability improvement. A full list of updates and changes can be viewed through Activision's official "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" website.

For multiplayer, a number of fixes have been rolled, which aims to minimize in-game hitching as well as the incorporation of streamlined image loading. This also reduces streaming problems just as well. The developers have also added additional logging for easier troubleshooting with in-game hitching problems as members of the community reports them.

In Zombies mode, a rare bug has also been addressed where players are thrown into a white screen after the match have started. The huge promotional banner in Dr. Monty's Factory should now be fixed as well.

The Revelations mode got most of the fixes and updates. The stability for splitscreen matches have been vastly improved, making the experience almost as close as bug-free for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions.

A number of issues and error have also been fixed like those for the Lightning Dark Arena Challenge and Keeper Protector Altar. The update also addresses various map exploits with the low gravity section in the Undercroft map.

Fans can expect that updates may start to slow down and get more scarce as "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Modern Warfare" releases this coming November 4, but the modding community may still take up the task in the near future for keeping the community alive.

Stay tuned for more updates on "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
