"Pokémon Sun and Moon" is almost at our arms reach and there has been tons of revelations that turned heads. One of the game's most unique feature are the Alolan forms of regular pokémon, and here's our ranking from the "what is that?" to simply "WOW."

Alolan pokémon conversions hardly goes wrong, but some aren't really sure or fond of what the original pokémon came to be with their alolan versions. Here's the list of the revealed alolan pokémon so far;

Alolan Grimer and Alolan Muk

These pokémon are pretty much reformed in "Pokémon Sun and Moon," in terms of how they actually smell. Unlike the original Muk and Grimer, these alolan forms don't smell terrible as the toxins are stored within their bodies instead.

Alolan Rattata

Pretty much the same Rattata. The only change it got was it went black and another odd addition to its Alolan form is the mustache or whatever it is. The Alolan Rattata pretty much resembles an actual rat as it prefers nocturnal settings.

Alolan Raticate

Pretty similar with the Alolan Rattata, the Alolan Raticate is also a black or darker version of the regular Raticate. Since they already have a mustache of some sort, the developers somewhat added an odd feature to this pokémon making it look like it has something stuffed inside its mouth.

Alolan Exeggutor

Here's an odd Alolan form. Based from the official description on "Pokémon Sun and Moon" official page, these Exeggutors became overgrown due to the extended and strong sunlight that pours all year in Alola.

Another odd thing about it is that GameFreaks actually tagged it as Dragon Type. We also don't know why.

Alolan Meowth

As if the regular Meowth isn't sassy enough, the Alolan Meowth is even more sassy than ever and it does look too confident being a cat. These alternate species of Meowth were a product of life lived in luxury making them way too pampered by the royalty.

Alolan Marowak

The Alolan Marowak is technically a standard Marowak with its bone weapon on blue flame. It is also a ghost type, which may trigger a lot of speculation making it Cubone's dead parent as the fans have always theorized for so long.

Alolan Vulpix and Ninetails

Alolan Vulpix is pretty much popular despite the fact that its evolution form is the Alolan Ninetails. On its own, the Alolan Vulpix is a complete reverse of what it used to be, making it an Ice Type.

The Alolan Ninetails, on the other hand, is such a beauty that it should have been on the top of the list. It is also a mix of Ice and Fairy type pokémon.

Alolan Sandshrew and Sandslash

Both Sandshrew and Sandslash also got an Alolan facelift and in these versions, both of them are now turned into hybrid Ice and Steel type pokémon. Sandshrew's outer armor has been improved while Sandslash's spike just got sharper making it deadlier than ever.

Alolan Raichu

There wasn't really that special with the standard Raichu, but the Alolan Raichu is looking to change that. Not only that it looks cuter, but it also has an actual practical use of its tail and that is to surf. Not a lot of pokémon in "Pokémon Sun and Moon" can do that.

Alolan Dugtrio

The latest and possibly the most fab of them all. The Alolan Dugtrio got some nice hair this time and its more than enough for fans to go crazy about them.
