With the NBA season about to begin in a few days, the latest trade rumors hinted that the Denver Nuggets might send their power forward Kenneth Faried before the start of the games in exchange for the Minnesota Timberwolves' point guard Kris Dunn.
Sports Rageous reported that the Timberwolves are currently in the process of rebuilding their roster. It is stated that bringing in Faried is expected to help them achieve their goal. According to the trade rumors, if Faried is traded to the Timberwolves, then he will be reunited with his former coach Tom Thibodeau and this is considered to be the best team-up of this year's NBA season.
Reports claimed that the adding Faried onto their roster will help the Timberwolves to improve their defensive gameplay and thus win a number of matches in the upcoming season. This is also expected to improve the team's ranking in the Western Conference.
On the other hand, ESPN reported that the even the Denver Nuggets are keen on trading Faried before the start of the new season. The NBA trade rumors suggested that the Nuggets are trying to bring in more young players onto their roster and thus, inking a deal with the Timberwolves will help them achieve their goal.
Should the trade become a reality, it is expected that the Nuggets will receive Timberwolves 2016 NBA draft pick and point guard Kris Dunn in exchange for Faired. This will help the Nuggets resolve their point guard gameplay issues in the backcourt as Dunn will provide them with excellent offensive skills.
However, as of now, there is no official word on the rumored trade scenario. Stay tuned for more NBA trade rumors and updates on Kenneth Faried.
