The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Toronto Raptors are eyeing the Denver Nuggets' power forward Kenneth Faried in order to improve their roster. Reports claimed that the Raptors might give away their shooting guard Terrence Ross in order to confirm the Faried deal with the Nuggets' before the start of the new season.
Sports Rageous reported that the Raptors are keen on bringing in Faried from the Nuggets in order to strengthen their frontcourt. Reports hinted that Kenneth Faried is expected to be teamed up with shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, who recently signed up a five-year $145 million deal with the Raptors.
It is stated that the duo along with point guard Kyle Lowry and center Jonas Valanciunas will help the team to give tough competition to other teams in the Eastern Conference like the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers. The trade rumors suggested that Faried will provide the Raptors with excellent defensive skills, which will help to put high scores on the board in the 2016-17 NBA season.
On the other hand, rumors hinted that even the Denver Nuggets team is looking forward to trading Faried this before the start of the training sessions. Fansided reported that the main reason behind the possible Faried trade is that the Nuggets' are planning to bring in more young players to further enhance their roster.
Reports claimed that the Nuggets are in need of a guard and Raptors' 25-year-old Ross is expected to be the perfect fit for the team. The trade rumors suggested that Ross will provide the Nuggets with his excellent offensive skills and thus provide them with more chance of winning against best teams in the NBA league.
