With the trade deadline fast approaching, the latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Toronto Raptors might enter a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, possibly sending their shooting guard Terrence Ross and power forward Patrick Patterson in exchange for the 76ers' center Nerlens Noel.

Sports Rageous reported that the Toronto Raptors is currently keen on rebuilding their team and thus, enquiring about Noel's availability. Reports touted that the Raptors want to improve their roster in order to provide a tough competition to other teams in the Eastern Conference and adding the duo from the 76ers is expected to help them achieve their goal.

A few reports hinted that the Toronto Raptors want to bring in Noel as he possesses the potential to fill the void created by the departure of their key player Bismack Biyombo to the Orlando Magic in the offseason, reported ESPN. According to the NBA trade rumors, Noel will provide the Toronto Raptors with excellent offensive and defensive skills, which will help them to put up high scores on the board this season.

On the other hand, the ESPN trade machine suggested that the deal will also be beneficial for the Philadelphia 76ers as the team is planning to trade players to vacate their overcrowded frontcourt. Also, adding Ross and Patterson is expected to provide the 76ers with excellent offensive and defensive skills, which will help them to enhance their gameplay and thus, provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.

However, as of now, there is still no official word on the rumored trade scenario involving Noel, Ross, and Patterson. So, these trade rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.
