According to the latest NBA trade rumors, the Philadelphia 76ers might ink a deal with the Phoenix Suns before the end of this year's basketball season. Reports claimed that the 76ers will trade their center Jahlil Okafor to the Suns in exchange for their point guard Brandon Knight.

Morning News USA reported that the trade between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Suns might take place in February 2017 before the trade deadline. Reports claimed that the Suns are keen on trading Knight as they have enough talented players in their backcourt like point guards Tyler Ulis and veteran Leandro Barbosa.

"The Suns might actually prefer to trade Knight who, while younger, bigger and a bit more durable, isn't the decision-maker or dynamic scorer that Bledsoe is," said ESPN's Chad Ford.

On the other hand, reports hinted that the 76ers are looking forward to vacating their overcrowded frontcourt comprising of center players Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor. It is reported that between Noel and Okafor, the latter center player has high chances of joining a new team for the next season.

According to the reports, the 76ers does not possess any talented point guard. Should the Philadelphia 76ers agree to sign a deal with the Suns and add Knight onto their roster, it will help the team to improve their offensive gameplay.

Moreover, even according to the ESPN Trade machine, the Okafor and Knight trade is rumored to be beneficial for both the teams. It will help the teams to solve their current overcrowded roster issues and thus enhance their overall gameplay in the next NBA season.

However, none of the teams have officially commented on the possible trade scenario involving Okafor and Knight. So, these rumored should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
