The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 launch is just hours away and our excitement level has powered its way through the roof onto worlds unknown. It's not easy to control this feeling of overwhelming joy when a new Galaxy smartphone is on the verge of hitting store shelves. This is because of the sheer power and pure awesomeness Samsung usually packs in these devices, which is what all Android fans have come to expect.

Because of Samsung's track record in making the next Galaxy S device more powerful than the other, we have come to expect big things from this bad boy and we're not afraid to throw it all out there. We will try to be as realistic as possible about the specs we want to see in the Galaxy S3, and if our thoughts are right on the money when Samsung unveils the device later, hey, you owe us five bucks for being awesome.

Screen Size

Samsung packed a beautiful 4.3 inch display into the Galaxy S2 exterior. Many believed Samsung wouldn't dare go further than that, but look at the Galaxy Note and you will realize that Sammy isn't afraid to push boundaries when it comes to smartphone screen size. We expect the Galaxy S3 to come blazing with a 4.6 or 4.7 inch display. Hopefully Samsung will be able to make the device slim enough so it won't look like a miniature Hulk.

LTE

This is a given. Samsung wouldn't dare launch the Galaxy S3 without Long Term Evolution support. All the top smartphones are equipped with LTE, with the only exception being the iPhone 4S. If Samsung can do a good job with LTE in the Galaxy S3, this baby will be a runaway success in the US.

Quad Core CPU and RAM

We believe Samsung want its device to be future proof, a device that will be able to compete with anything for the next year, and the only way to make this possible is to drop a quad core chipset inside. About the RAM, we would love for Samsung to put a 2GB RAM in the Galaxy S3, the company might probably stick to 1GB. However, we have a feeling Samsung could be looking to the stars with this one.

Siri-like software

Most likely won't happen since Google is working on its own Siri-like service for Android. However, Samsung might not want to rely on Google too much, so coming with its own voice recognition A.I system would be a good idea. If Samsung does venture down this route, let's hope it doesn't get Apple angry to the point of a lawsuit.

Camera

Many rumors going around about an 8-megapixel or a 12-megapixel camera, but let's be realistic here. The Samsung Galaxy S2 8-megapixel shooter took great shots, and we're sure Samsung can improve on the same camera without the need to extend the megapixel count. So, we expect an 8-megapixel camera instead of 12. Agreed? Of course you do.

That's about it for what we want to see, tell us in the comments what you would like to see from the Galaxy S3 when it is officially announced and unveiled later today.
