A new evolution stone will be introduced in the highly anticipated game "Pokémon Sun and Moon," according to a new trailer.
According to Reddit user sable-king, the Spanish website of "Sun and Moon" has pretty much revealed the existence of a new evolution stone, the ice stone, via a footage. Sable-king, who speaks Spanish, pointed out that one of the items on this screenshot is named "piedra hielo," which translates to "ice stone" in English.
Dedicated "Pokémon" website serebii.net also posted the screenshot on Twitter.
Redditors have speculated that this will most likely be the key item in evolving the ice-based Eevee evolution Glaceon in "Pokémon Sun and Moon." In previous games, like "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," Glaceon can be obtained by evolving Eevee near an Ice Rock.
The Ice Stone can also be possibly used for Vulpix's Alolan form. Both Vulpix and its evolution Ninetales has an ice-based Alolan form, and the Ice Stone may be one possible way to get them.
A new trailer for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has also revealed the evolutions for starter Pokémon Rowlet, Litten and Popplio. A new trailer showcased the three evolutions: Rowlet's Grass/Flying type evolution Dartrix, Litten's Fire-type evolution Torracat and Popplio's Water-type evolution Brionne.
The new trailer also showed the Festival Plaza, which according to the description on the official website is "a place where the festivities never stop, as Pokémon Trainers from around the world meet and mingle."
Excited fans will be able to get a glimpse at the game by playing the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" demo, which will be available to download in the Nintendo eShop beginning Oct. 18. Players will be able to use Greninja in the game, which can be evolved into Ash-Greninja and carried over to the actual game.
"Pokémon Sun and Moon" will be available for the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
