The latest speculations about the next fight of Ronda Rousey in the Octagon suggest that she might face the recent UFC-198 winner Cristiane Justino, also known Cris Cyborg. Reports claimed that Cyborg recently called out the former UFC champion and said that she wants to have a showdown with Rousey.
"I want Ronda to come back," Justino told Daily Star. "I think she should show people even when you lose, it's not the end of the world. You cannot give up. Come back for your fans and let's make the fight for all the fans, for women's MMA. I think everybody wants this fight and it would be amazing."
FOX Sports reported that Cyborg's statement has paved the way for rumors that Rousey might have to face Cyborg in her comeback fight. To add on to the next fight rumors, UFC president Dana White also stated that a fight between Cyborg and Rousey will garner the highest-selling pay-per-view of all time.
Meanwhile, reports claimed that Ronda Rousey's next match is expected to take place at UFC 207 in December. Rousey's possible comeback was recently teased by White when he stated that the former bantamweight champion might return to the Octagon ring by the end of the year.
Besides, even Rousey's trainer, Edmond Tarverdyan, stated that the former UFC women's champion has been quietly training throughout her break period add is looking forward to making a bounce back.
Nonetheless, Rousey's possible comeback fight is rumored to take place with the current women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. Few reports also suggested that if Rousey is able to defeat Nunes in her next fight, then there are high chances of a showdown with Cyborg in 2017.
However, no official confirmation has been provided by the UFC about Rousey's comeback and who will stand opposite to her in the next match.
