Samsung recently announced the new stylish Galaxy C7. With new elements in design, specs, and functions, the Samsung C7 looks elegant; but how does the 2016 phone perform compared to the Google Nexus 6, which was launched in 2014?

When it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy C7 is slimmer and lighter than the Google Nexus 6. The Nexus 6 has a slightly larger screen size with a higher resolution compared to the Galaxy C7.

When it was launched, the Google Nexus 6 came with Android v5.0 operating system. In the case of the Samsung Galaxy C7, it came with the next version of the Android OS, the Android v6.0.1

Looking at the processor, the Google Nexus 6 was originally launched with 2.7 Ghz, while the Samsung Galaxy C7 has 2 Ghz Octa core. The Google Nexus 6 is clearly a winner here with a much faster CPU speed and a smoother experience capability.

The RAM capacity is more for the Samsung Galaxy C7 than the Google Nexus 6. Hence, applications can run faster and in parallel better in the case of the Samsung Galaxy C7. Storage is similar for both the smartphones. However, the Samsung Galaxy C7 is expandable up to 128GB.

Although both have non-removable battery, the battery capacity is slightly higher for Samsung Galaxy c7.

From the picture quality perspective, the camera resolution is higher in the case of the Samsung Galaxy C7.

For those who are worried about connectivity or would like to make use of two different service providers, the Samsung Galaxy C7 would be a better choice. As mentioned in NDTV Gadgets , the Galaxy C7 supports Dual SIM operations. For all the Radio lovers out there, the Samsung Galaxy C7 would be the better choice as it is the only one that supports FM Radio.

The Google Nexus 6 has larger screen size, screen resolution, and a much faster CPU speed than the Galaxy C7. However, the recently launched Samsung phone has clearly won over with other features such as camera and battery.
