The Samsung Galaxy C7 and the Galaxy C5 are both 2016 launches. Today, we thought of doing a side-by-side comparison of their design, specs, and features to determine if an upgrade is necessary.

Coming to hardware, the C7 is powered by 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, whereas the C5 is powered by 1.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617. Among the two, the Samsung Galaxy C7 has the higher CPU speed and can more smoothly handle multitasking applications.

Comparing the cameras, unlike the Samsung Galaxy C5 model, the front flash is available for the C7 model. When it comes to battery, the Galaxy C7 smartphone has a higher battery capacity than the C5 model.

According to GSM Arena, the audio quality is better for the Samsung Galaxy C7 when compared to the Samsung Galaxy C5 model. And as in cases of other smartphone variants, the bigger smartphone the Samsung Galaxy C7 costs more than the comparatively smaller smartphone the Samsung Galaxy C5.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 is clearly the better choice and the winner between the two models, especially when it comes to features. The only advantage of the Samsung Galaxy C5 model is that it is lighter. Still, if you are not keen on heavy duty specs, it will do smoothly.
