The latest NBA trade rumors suggested that the Cleveland Cavaliers might ink a deal with the Sacramento Kings before the start of the new season. Reports claimed that the Cavaliers might trade their power forward Kevin Love to the Kings for their center DeMarcus Cousins and small forward Rudy Gay in order to improve their roster.

The Cavaliers are reportedly trying to send Love to the other team owing to his performance in the last season. It is also stated that Love is currently struggling to fit his gameplay tactics with the Cavaliers on-court.

This further prompted the team's management to trade him off before the start of the new season in exchange for other talented players. Reports also claimed that the Cavaliers might also send their center Tristan Thompson to the Kings to seal the deal.

As a result, reports claimed that if the Cavaliers bring in Cousins and Gay, then the players will help the team to maintain their dominance in the NBA league in the upcoming season. It is stated that the Cavaliers might team up Cousins and Gay with LeBron James in order to provide a tough competition to other teams in the NBA league like the Golden State Warriors who have Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry on their roster.

On the other hand, the Sacramento Kings' management is reportedly going through a rough time because of Cousins' behavioral issues. As rumors have it, the team has therefore decided to trade him. Also, Gay is purportedly struggling to fit into the Kings' style of play.

Reports claimed that if the Kings sign a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kevin Love, then the deal will help Love to play his original game. It is stated that the trade will also help the Kings to put up high scores on the board with Love's excellent on-court offensive and defensive skills.

However, no team has provided any official confirmation as of now about the possible trade scenario. Stay tuned in here for more updates and NBA trade rumors.
