"Descendants of the Sun" lead stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Hyo has been rumored to be dating since earlier this year. Although the alleged couple has not confirmed their romance, recent speculations claim that they are getting married soon.

Fans of the SongSong couple are hoping that they are dating secretly and they are planning their marriage. Moreover, more reports surface that the 30-year-old actor is going to propose on his 31st birthday to Song Hye Kyo. The actor will celebrate his birthday this September 19.

To recall, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo played the characters of Captain Yoo Shi Jin and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon in the hit drama "Descendants of the Sun". Reports then surfaced they are dating because of their undeniable chemistry.

Amidst their dating rumors, the two has not denied or agreed with the reports. However, it was noted that they praise each other both privately and publicly.

During the 11th Seoul International Drama Awards on September 8, Song Joong Ki shared to the press that Song Hye Kyo sent him a coffee and food truck in the set of his upcoming film, "The Battleship Island."

"She not only sent a coffee truck, she sent a snack truck too. She's the best partner," the "Descendants of the Sun" actor said as reported by Soompi.

Interestingly, new reports claim that Song Joong Ki is preparing to propose marriage to his rumored girlfriend, Song Hye Kyo on his birthday. Moreover, the actor was seen to have cut his hair short as part of the wedding proposal preparations.

However, it was cleared by a report by Soompi that the actor cut his hair in relation to filming his new movie.

"I cut my hair because I'm currently filming a movie, but it feels awkward. I hope you can look at it favorably," Song Joong Ki said.

The rumored couple has not confirmed whether they are really dating or not. But with all the clues surrounding them, fans cannot help but hope their favorite on-screen couple can be a real-life couple.
