More clues point to a possible September release date for the "Death Star" DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront," and fans should expect no patches for the game until the next DLC drops.

We have previously reported that the "Death Star" DLC is nearing completion, as lighting lead Oscar Carlen is said to already working on the lighting for the latest update.

Now it looks like Carlen has already finished his work on the "Death Star" DLC.

"Everything about it is different from the previous DLCs so its not easy to compare," Carlen responded to a question on whether working on "Death Star" is more challenging than "Outer Rim". "Its been a lot of fun though."

Carlen also said that the "Death Star" DLC will be "out this month," although he did not give the exact release date.

The lighting lead also implied that the "Death Star" DLC is already complete. One Twitter user asked him whether there are still things to work on in the upcoming DLC, to which he replied, "You always want to fix stuff. But it comes to a point when you have to let it go."

In other news, "Star Wars: Battlefront" would not be getting any patch updates until "Death Star"'s release, according to a post on the official forums,

Forum moderator Jaywal confirmed on the forums that there will be no patch after the Hutt contract launched towards the end of August.

"We will only be getting a new Hutt contract tomorrow. That is it," Jaywal wrote. "No patch until Death Star."

According to The Star Wars Game Outpost, the "Death Star" DLC may be out by Sept. 20, based on the work currently being done on the expansion. The site also considered the length of time for certification, which usually takes around five to seven days, according to Kotaku.
