Adam Jensen's action packed adventure will continue with the release of the first story DLC for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "System Rift."
The game's first story-based DLC will mark the return of Frank Pritchard, Jensen's friend and former colleague. Together, they will investigate the notorious Santeau Group to see what they are up to.
"System Rift" will be available on Sept. 23 and can be downloaded on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and other online retailers for $11.99. The DLC will also be available for those who own the Season Pass for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," according to Polygon.
Another story DLC is due to be released for the game, titled "Criminal Past." Eidos Montreal is yet to release a launch date for this DLC, and is also yet to confirm if there are any more DLC's in the pipeline for the game in the future, according to Den Of Geek.
In other news, "Mankind Divided" did not ship with DirectX12 support, according to PC Gamer. This has now been sorted out via the latest patch update.
"We have some extra work and optimizations to do for DX12, and we need more time to ensure we deliver a compelling experience," Eidos Montreal announced on Steam prior to the fix. "Our teams are working hard to complete the final push required here though, and we expect to release DX12 support on the week of September 5th!"
Despite being released three days later than the promised date, Eidos Montreal delivered on its promise, and has included DX12 support on its Patch 5 update on Sept. 8. Check out the full patch notes on Steam via this link.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" received generally favorable reviews across all platforms from critics, according to review aggregator Metacritic. However, as Eurogamer reported, "Human Revolution" still beats the new title in the charts based on its own debut sales in the UK, according to GfK Chart-Track.
