With the rumors that the upcoming iPhone 7 will be less appealing, next year's Apple iPhone 8 is reportedly all set to sport many new revolutionary features including an all-glass chassis and curved edged display screen.

According to a post from the Nikkei Asian Review, the iPhone 8 device is expected to flaunt an all-glass design, reported Huffington Post. Reports claimed that with the glass chassis, the Cupertino-based company is also rumored to integrate the Touch ID sensor into the phone, which will lead to the removal of the physical Home button.

Furthermore, there are reports that the iPhone 8 will receive a major upgrade in terms of its display as it is touted to consist of a curved screen with rounded edges, which will be a never-seen-before look for the Apple device.

"There will be a 4.7-inch model, another that will be 5.5-inches and a premium handset that will be either 5.5-inches or larger equipped with a screen bent on the two sides," said Nikkei's source familiar with Apple's plans, as reported by Mac World.

Along with the curved screen, rumors stated that the new iPhone will incorporate the OLED display, which will help the device to consume less power and also provide the users with increased contrast ratios. However, few reports claimed that Apple will introduce the OLED screen in this year's iPhone 7 Pro.

Also, the iPhone 8 is expected to consist of Lithium-O2 batteries and motion charging technology to provide the users with longer battery life. Besides, rumors hinted that Apple might release three variants of iPhone 8 varying in the internal storage capacity.

Meanwhile, the release date rumors hinted that the iPhone 8 might be launched in September 2017 following the trend over the years. It is also stated that the new device will be released to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. However, there is no official confirmation as of now. Stay posted here for more updates.
