AirTags are as valuable as your iPhone or any contemporary gadget. The only difference is that you cannot install games or any apps here to be used but only to track your lost items.
Besides, there will be no challenge for you when it comes to setting up this object tracker. With Precise Finding, you will achieve fast and accurate recovery of lost items. To start with the AirTag setup, check this guide.
How to Set Up an AirTag
It is not a challenge to put an AirTag and one does not take much time when doing so. What you need to do to get started is listed below:
Activate the AirTag: Start by removing a very small polyethylene plastic tab that kicks the hardware of an AirTag. It will be when your device begins to make a beep sound that you know that it is time to start pairing.
Finally, open Bluetooth, then pair it with your iPhone which is simply placing your iPhone near the tracker. Well of course there should be a notification that pops up telling one to link up. If this does not appear, immediately lock and unlock your phone.
Note: After that, please ensure that your iPhone is using iOS 14.5 or above versions. Also allow Location Services, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Two-Factor Authentication and Find My.
Set an AirTag Name: You can identify your tracker by assigning an emoji or icon if setting a name won't work.
Link to Apple ID: Your AirTag will have to be linked with your Apple ID. Tap Continue, and it auto-registers itself.
You are all set. Tap Done in case everything links well and your AirTag will be ready to go.
Trick: In the event of a connectivity issue, you will be able to reset your AirTag with the removal and re-inclusion of its battery. Twist open the back by twisting it counter-clockwise to take it out, press down at the battery, and hear a click, repeat this until you hear another click which signals it has completed the factory reset.
How to Locate Your AirTag
After you have set up your AirTag, the action you will take to locate that lost item is quite straightforward.
Locate Using the Find My App: Open the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap Items at the bottom, and then tap the AirTag you want to find. The map will display where your AirTag is.
Toggling Views on the Map: Tap the map options in the top-right corner to switch between Explore and Satellite view.
Play a Sound: Tap Play Sound. If your AirTag is nearby, the AirTag will beep and make it easier to locate.
Precision Finding: Tap Find. The iPhone will use Precision Finding to help point you in the direction of the location of the AirTag, showing its distance and direction.
Activating Lost Mode for a Missing AirTag

Activate Lost Mode: Tap Enable under the Lost Mode heading in the Find My app. Tap Continue on the next screen.
Enter Contact Details: You will need to enter either a phone number or an email address so that if your AirTag is located, the person who finds it will be able to contact you.
