A five pages of Japanese scans of "Fairy Tail" chapter 499 were released, giving fans hints on what will happen in the upcoming chapter. It is said that the next chapter will begin with Invel Yura stating that Gray Fullbuster will defeat E.N.D. (Etherious Natsu Dragneel).

"Fairy Tail" Chapter 498 Recap

The previous chapter, which was released on Aug. 10, saw Invel descending upon the battlefield, starting a skirmish of supreme zero temperature with Gray. As Invel introduced himself, he proceeded with his assault by attacking Gray with blasts of ice.

The protection guard of Emperor Spriggan then pronounced that Gray is no match against his winter. Frightened, the latter realized that he, an ice mage, was shuddering just from the former's mere presence.

The chapter ended with Mavis Vermilion, who is currently in the guild, beseeching her confidants to crush Invel before her ability to think completely fades. Apparently, Zeref Dragneel ordered Irene Belserion to remove Fairy Heart from the Fairy Tail's first guild master, Mavis.

Early "Fairy Tail" chapter 499 spoilers are now out, thanks to the 5-page preview of the manga's Japanese scans via YonkouProductions Blog. The next chapter is dubbed "Gray and Juvia."

According to a fan, DiMaria Yesta, who translated the Japanese content, "Fairy Tail" chapter 499 will begin with Gray stating that he is willing to be abhorrent or a rascal for the sake of the Fairy Tail guild.
