Things are about to get even hotter in the next chapter of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" manga.
Certain spoilers suggested that Boruto Uzumaki will get disqualified in the final round of the Chunin Selection Exams after he was caught using the Kote, a "Science Ninja Weapon," during his second match.
With the title "You Damn Geezer...!!," the fourth chapter of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" manga saw Shikamaru informing the Seventh Hokage, Naruto, that their children passed to the next phase of the Chunin Exams.
The Seventh Hokage then complimented Boruto for passing the exam and informed him not to lose to Shikadai. Boruto, who had always been resentful towards his father, remarked that Naruto's brief words could have been put in an email. Nevertheless, he is moved to tears by his father coming to see him.
During the second round of the final match, Boruto confronted Shikadai, who caught him and all four of his shadow clones using the Shadow Imitation Technique. Despite the fact that the former cannot specifically do anything to escape, he opts to use the Kote to make a few dozen shadow clones, driving Shikadai to relinquish, as noted by Naruto Wikia.
According to Hall of Fame Magazine, Naruto, who has been watching the battle, approached him afterwards apparently to congratulate him. Instead, the Seventh Hokage disqualified Boruto for using the Kote, giving the triumph to Shikadai.
Hence, Boruto will start lashing out at his father over his decision, making Boruto to carry on irately. However, the stadium is all of a sudden assaulted by Kinshiki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki.
It is said that Kinshiki and Momoshiki plan to take the world's chakra for themselves, as it seemingly allows them to have unfathomable power without ever needing to train to acquire any of it. The latter attacks Naruto after seeing the Seventh Hokage with Kurama's chakra with his Byakugan.
The stadium is then pulverized in the resulting battle, thus, forcing the tournament's cancellation. Since there is no official preview for the next "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" chapter, the claims should be taken with a grain of salt.
