At long last, the highly anticipated open world space game "No Man's Sky" is finally here. There are plenty of things to do in the game, and it is pretty overwhelming at first.

Here are some of the things you must absolutely do in "No Man's Sky."

Crafting Carite Sheets And Bypass Chips

Crafting is an essential part of "No Man's Sky." Crafting certain items will help you with your journey.

The two items you would probably craft a lot of are Carite Sheets for your Pulse Engine, and Bypass Chips, which can be used to access terminals and call your spaceship to outpost landing pads.

Discover Heridium and other Useful Items

Before crafting, you would first need to gather useful materials throughout your journey. Iron, plutonium and other common items can be found practically everywhere, so it's not too hard to find.

Heridium, on the other hand, will take a bit more effort on your part. After repairing your Pulse Engine, press L3 on your gamepad will activate your scanning tool. The tool will point you towards the direction of Heridium deposits.

Discover New Species

Players should also try discovering new species on each of the planets, and to register them on the database, the Analysis Visor should be equipped.

The visor displays the age, gender, diet, weight, and height of the specie, as well as the temperament.

Recharge Your Hazard Protection Suit

From time to time, players will encounter toxic planets, or any other planets with hazardous conditions like temperature. For this you need you need a Hazard Protection Suit, which should be regularly charged before venturing out.

The suit can be automatically charged by reentering your ship. Another way is to look for Zinc, Titanium and Shielding Shards.

Rename Your Planets

It would not be a true sandbox experience without having a bit of fun on the side. Renaming your planets is one of the things in "No Man's Sky" where you can go crazy and think of all sorts of names for them.

Of course, there are still so many things to do in the game that we have not covered on this article. The rest is totally up to you.

"No Man's Sky" is out now for the PS4, and will be launched on PC on August 12.
