Pokémon fans in India can at last snatch their mobile phones and set off outdoors in quest of virtual monsters as the worldwide raving success "Pokémon GO" game will reportedly make its debut in the country this August.
"Pokémon GO" is now available in more than 35 countries, including the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, but India has so far been left off the rundown.
The Nintendo game, which allows players to catch Pokémon monsters on their smartphones in real-life settings, will most likely launch in India before the end of August or amid India's Independence Day on Aug. 15, according to industry analysts, as cited by PC Tablet.
It is said that the developers are reportedly working really hard to discharge the augmented reality game in India before the month of August ends, particularly now that the country has been added to the server list by Nintendo and Niantic.
Despite the fact that the augmented reality game has not yet been released in India, it was reported that "Pokémon GO" is already being played by thousands of Indians. Many individuals went ahead and installed the "Pokémon GO" game by illegally downloading it through APK mirror files, International Business Times reported.
This apparently prompted server blackout in many official regions. Hence, the Niantic Labs and Nintendo was forced to geo-block the "Pokémon GO" game in some Asian and South America regions. It was previously reported that the company giant has ambiguously expressed that they are attempting to bring the game to as many countries as possible.
"Pokémon GO" has been downloaded by more than 100 million people since it was officially launched on July 6. The global hit mobile game has already beaten other rival popular games, including "Candy Crush Jelly Saga", "Color Switch", "Piano Tiles 2," and more.
