The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Golden State Warriors might trade their power forward Draymond Green before the start of the upcoming season. Reports claimed that the player with whom the trade might take place with is the New Orleans Pelicans Anthony Davis.

Morning News USA reported that Green had compromised the team's image by getting involved in a number of issues in the past. The 26-year-old player has been suspended in a critical NBA Finals game and arrested for alleged battery and assault. He was also slammed recently for posting an inappropriate picture on social media.

If it comes to the situation where the team decides to trade Green, he will be exchanged for only an equally talented player as he is one of the top players in the league. The NBA trade rumors hinted that the Warriors is currently eyeing New Orleans power forward Anthony Davis. Also, reports claimed that they might ask for the Pelican's center player Karl-Anthony Towns in exchange of their power forward.

To add on to the trade rumors, ESPN's analyst Stephen A Smith stated that the Golden State Warriors are reportedly firm on their decision to give away Green if he continues to be in the limelight for the wrong reasons and thus damage team's image.

The Warriors currently have many talented players like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson; and if Draymond Green becomes too problematic, it might prompt the team to trade him even if he has an average of 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.4 assists last season.

The analyst stated that the owner of the team Joe Lacob wants the Golden State Warriors to be always known for its player's excellent standards.

"I want to tell Draymond Green to consider this as a warning," said Smith during his interaction on First Take. "If you continue to tread on this path, the Warriors would turn you on in the blink of an eye. At the end of the day, any organization that believes you are compromising their money and bottom line because of image issues ultimately will turn on you if you're not careful."
