Just recently, ScottGames website had a subtle change that replaced the former baby animatronics with a simpler image. Meanwhile, rumors have it that "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is set to be released somewhere in September or October this year.
The site now shows a blue and orange switch with the phrase "Get back on your stage" and the emphasis at "NOW." Some fans speculated that this change will greatly reflect the game mechanics.
One of the most common speculations point that the two buttons are the controls that players will be presented in order to defend themselves and survive the "Nights."
In various forums like the FNAF: Sister Location subreddit, fans have a speculation that the term "Get back on your stage. NOW" pertains to stage performers in animatronics costumes. This would likely be a good connection to the recent site update.
With the previous images on the site, fans may still be clueless as to what the "baby animatronics" has to do with the recent site update. No official word from the developer as expected, but it could be easily told that these babies are one of the baddies, if not the worst of them.
A fan theory regarding Purple Guy's appearance may be the possible "AftonRobotics" had been mention on Cawthon's wesbite. Afton Robotics operates under Sister Location animatronics.
All these are being controlled by a man named Willaim Afton, who's the same psycho who killed children at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
In of the endings in the game "Five Nights at Freddy's World," a character named "Baby" was mentioned, which might be quite a coincidence with the baby animatronics that were on the official website before.
At this standpoint, it could be either the Purple Guy or Baby who's going to be the big boss in the game, but all these are to be taken as a grain of salt.
While majority of the fan sites, communties, subreddits, and even news outlets anticipate the game's release this coming fall, no particulars are set in stone yet. The developer of the game doesn't follow any particular release date patterns with the previous launches and the same could be expected with "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
