After several years of waiting, fans will now be able to secure a PlayStation 4 (PS4) version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" when it arrives later this year. Now, the pre-order details for the critically acclaimed action-adventure game have been revealed.

VG24/7 reported that the PS4 version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is now available on PlayStation Store. Those who pre-order the digital version of the game will apparently be given a bonus item - a free copy of 2013's widely praised "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" game.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" will arrive on PS4 along with all new add-ons and a few changes in the gameplay. Dubbed as the "20th Anniversary Celebration," the upcoming PS4 version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" comes with a new single player mode - a zombie-ish horde mode dubbed "Lara's Nightmare"; the co-op mode called "Endurance"; and "Blood Ties," which focuses more on the game's narrative.

On top of that, the so-called "20th Anniversary Celebration" of the game will also include all previously released downloadable contents (DLC), along with an all new set of costumes and skins, as well as a PlayStation VR support for "Blood Ties."

Earlier reports claimed that the PlayStation VR support allows players to unlock the mysteries of Lara's Croft chateau, Croft Manor, in a first-person perspective. Further, a re-envisioned version of Lara's cold weather outfit and Hailstorm gun will also be available.

"[Crystal Dynamics is celebrating with all Tomb Raider fans, thanking them for being on Lara's 20-year journey with us," Crystal Dynamics' co-head Scot Amos said in a press released statement obtained by GameSpot. "The team has packed in surprises, new story and the top-requested special features into this '20 Year Celebration' edition."

Developed by Crystal Dynamics, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is set to be released for PlayStation 4 worldwide on October 11.
