Bandai Namco has been keeping quiet with the development of the PC port for "One Piece: Burning Blood." Meanwhile, a new set of characters will be added to the fighting roster of the game as paid DLC.
The lack of updates on Bandai Namco's end is frustrating for the PC community. The PC version was supposed to be out last month but due to a few setbacks, the publisher was not able to meet its deadline.
"We've been working diligently to match the console version's quality with 30 FPS and 1080P resolution," Bandai Namco posted on the Steam Community Forums in June.
"In order to achieve these goals, we're going to need a bit more time to put the finishing touches on One Piece Burning Blood for PC's," the game company continued. "The game will be available later this summer, we'll come back to you with exact release date as soon as possible."
Bandai Namco has not given any information since then, but fans are still hoping that they will be able to fulfill their Summer release date promise.
In other news, fans will see the addition of the antagonist of "One Piece Film Gold," Gildo Tesoro, in "One Piece: Burning Blood." Bandai Namco US announced the news on its official Twitter account.
The post also mentioned that new costumes will be added to the game as downloadable content. However, the company did not confirm a release date for the new contents.
Apart from Gildo, the top three winners from the recently concluded Grand Fighter Vote will also be added to the roster.
The three characters are former CP9 member Rob Lucci, mad scientist Caesar Clown, and Luffy's grandfather and Marine member Monkey D. Garp. These characters will be available as paid DLC in the coming months, as stated on the One-Piece Game website.
