Although there have been no confirmed reports for release date of iPad Pro 2, it is highly anticipated that the iPad Pro will be launched in Apple's annual fall event.

Given the timeline and Apple product cycles, the device can be expected to be launched no sooner than this September. Notably, the first iPad Pro was launched in fall 2015, although the modifications were released in March 2016.

In addition, there is confusion about the iPad version, which will be released in the fall, reported The BitBag. The publication speculates that it will be unreasonable to expect an upgraded 9.7-inch iPad Pro after its introduction, approximately six months ago.

A report from PC Advisor claims that an iPad Pro 2 may come this year, but not before autumn. The publication has also mentioned that users cannot expect an upgraded model for the 9.7 inch model until March 2017.

Meanwhile, in addition to the release date, there has been speculations about the possible specifications of the latest iPad.

The iPad Pro 2 is expected to come with a 12.9-inch True Tone display. In addition, users can also expect a 12 MP iSight rear camera and a front facing HD camera with retina flash. The primary camera will reportedly be equipped with 4K video recording capability and able to capture live photos.

Moreover, Apple is expected to bring in some new features like an upgraded processor, and offering iOS 10. The devices will come with 256 GB storage and a Rose Gold color option, among other features.

The cost of the iPad might be around $1099 for the 256 GB model and $949 for the 128 GB model. However, there has been no official announcement from Apple yet.
