The release date for the much anticipated "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is now revealed. "Dragon Ball" fans can now place their orders for the much awaited title, which will be released in October.

Online retail super store Amazon is now taking pre-orders for Namco Bandai's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: Day One Edition" for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

There is no information if there are any additional content included in the Day One edition, or if there is any significant difference to the standard edition at all.

The previous title "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" Day One edition included an exclusive Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta and two special Frieza Soldier's battle suits in gold and crystal, according to this Bandai Namco US Tumblr page.

Almost all previous Bandai Namco Day One Editions have included preorder DLC's in the past. "Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth" Day One Edition included several DLC hero costumes for Agumon, while "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" also had bonus DLC's included.

Siliconera asked "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" producer Masayuki Hirano during an interview at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo about possible DLC's included in the game, and if it is possible for characters from "Dragon Ball Super" to be added.

"Since Dragon Ball Super is still playing we are hoping to add those characters and features into the game," said Hirano. "As you can imagine, it takes a long time to create a character. It may be before the game is released, it may be after. To be candid, we're just starting to look into it."

With that said, maybe fans will see Goku Black added to the roster as well. Hirano also said that apart from paid DLC's, the team is also aiming to support the game with free updates in the future.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be released on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on October 25 and for PC via Steam on October 28.
