Android N was officially launched during Google I/o event, but the latest report revealed that the company will have some major revamps regarding its Home and Navigation buttons.
Know Your Mobile noted that the latest operating system has been through several beta testing but it look like Google is not satisfied with its appearance yet. Furthermore, sources allegedly told Android Police that Google's latest Nexus model might have an overhauled navigational bars.
So how would it look like? Well, not much of a change, but the tech website wrote that the Home key will show little animation when long pressed. It will reveal some various colors expanding outwards.
Additionally, the slightest change on the keys only reveals a non-transparent type. Google is yet to unfold the rumored tweaks and if this will be part of Google's ASOP release.
Should the news be true, these changes will only be available on stock Android. Meaning, only Nexus phones made by HTC, the Sailfish, and Marlin, will have it.
But then, it is also possible that the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 and other Nexus products like upcoming models of Nexus tablets might also have the Android N.
As for the release date, PC advisor suggested that Android N will be out in late September. It will arrive specifically before September ends as Google is said to launch the new Nexus 5 and 6 smartphones with the said operating system.
More than that, Gottabemobile added that Samsung products such as Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge , Galaxy S7and Galaxy Note 5 will have an expansion.
Google has not confirmed any of the reports, so the speculation could only be treated with a grain of salt. Catch more updates about Android N in the coming days.
