Heavy news appeared on the Internet about EA's latest installment, "Mass Effect Andromeda."
It was reported that the upcoming game has been feeling under tension in the company. According to unnamed sources, developers started to leave the project and some features were removed so that it would achieve the given deadline.
Rumors and speculations started to fire up and GameSpot took the initiative to interview BioWare general manager, Aaryn Flynn in order to clarify the news.
They discussed about the "Mass Effect Andromeda" trailer that was revealed during the E3 event and addressed the game expansion that didn't happen as what fans have expected.
In response, Flynn said," Well, every time we do one of these things we make a bunch of choices about how we're going to fit all of this in, so we definitely made a choice to show more of the characters," reported by GameSpot.
"A lot of what we did here was meant to complement the previous trailers as well," as continued.
It was confirmed that the trailer showcased all scenes directly from the game and none of it was CGI. Although the game was a challenge for the team, it was because of their fans support that the developers and the company decided to make the latest installment.
Furthermore, Flynn was asked about the news suggesting that they're feeling under tension. He said, " Er, passion yeah, tensions yes. There are tense moments, for sure," according to GameSpot.
"Any time you're trying to do something big and ambitious, you're going to have tensions and second thoughts," as continued.
"I think trailers like this show that, for whatever doubts our developers might have in their minds about getting this done, it's going to get done and it's going to be amazing," he added.
Prior to "Mass Effect Andromeda" release date schedule in early 2017, EA and its developers have discussed its gameplay and storyline. Based on the new trailer, it will feature a new character and putting Commander Shepard's memories behind.
The game will feature events that happened several years from its predecessor and it will take place in a new neighboring environment, the Andromeda galaxy, according to GottaBe Mobile.
Meanwhile, the story will put the spotlight onto the female protagonist, Ryder. The character was introduced during the E3 conference. Her journey starts after she regained consciousness from a deep sleep caused by a dangerous mission along with her teammates.
Electronic Arts and BioWare revealed that there will be female and male playable characters, which were described as young and inexperienced. Also, the company revealed that they're bringing the utility vehicle, Mako.
Creative Director at BioWare, Mac Walters, said, "This is a story about becoming a hero," according to Polygon. Players will continue events from the previous series to become"a hero who then became a legend," Walters added.
As of the moment, "Mass Effect Andromeda" fans will have to watch out for upcoming in-depth news about the game before its release date.
