Capcom just announced that the company will release its biggest "Street Fighter V" update this month.

The much awaited story mode expansion will be called "A Shadow Falls", and will be making its way to the players towards the end of the month, IGN reported.

The new story, which Capcom described as "a 3-4 hour experience", is said to connect the gap between "Street Fighter IV" and "Street Fighter III". It depicts the classic battle between good and evil, with the appearance of "Black Moons" threatening the safety of the planet, according to the Capcom Unity blog. It is up to our popular "Street Fighter" heroes Ryu and Ken and heroine Chun-Li to stop the "Black Moons" before it destroys the world.

Capcom also announced that all six DLC characters will be included in the new story mode. This means that Alex, Guile, Ibuki, along with unannounced Balrog, Urien and Juri will all be fully playable. Capcom will be in effect offering the players a sneak peek of the characters before they are officially released later this year.

"Those characters shouldn't be considered final or tournament ready, as they still need to be properly polished and balanced," Capcom clarified.

Completing the Story Mode on Normal difficulty will give players some Fight Money and unlock the Extra Mode, giving you a total of 80,000 FM.

Capcom also announced that it will remove the current Zenny system and replace it with the much more straight-forward real money transactions. The in-game store will be upgraded so players can purchase via the Playstation Store or Steam. Fight Money can still be used to purchase characters, stages and story costumes, while premium costumes can only be bought using real money.

Capcom did not give an exact date on when these updates will come out, but the company gave a release window of end of June.
