The highly expected new iPad release has not only brought praise and excitement, but also it has thrown some light on the next generation iPhone, ranging from the features to the name.

The most striking features of the new iPad is no other than Retina Display with 2058x1536 high resolution. Barclays Hong Kong analyst Kirk Yang suggested that the iPhone 5 will have Retina Display, Eastern Morning Herald reported.

4G LTE is another big improvement in the new iPad. The new iPad is the first Apple device to boast of the super-fast network, but it won't be the last one. The iPhone will include the 4G LTE technology more than likely.

Moreover, a bigger battery is also required for the next iPhone, since there are some users, who have complained about the smartphone's battery life issue. The tech giant might pack the iPhone 5 with a more powerful battery.

The A5X chip with superior graphics performance might be only in the latest iPad, not the next iPhone, analysts told Macworld.

Linley Gwennap, founder and principal analyst of The Linley Group, believed that the A5X is specifically for the new iPad's Retina Display with high resolution. “I think that this new chip is probably just for the iPad,” Gwennap said. “It looks like they planned ahead for this.” So, how about A6 chip?

And although, Siri wasn't packed in the new iPad, it's improbable that Apple will be pulling off the voice-controlled intelligent assistant from the next iPhone.

The name of the new iPad indicates that the tech giant is ready to chop the number suffix off, when it names any new iDevice, according to 9to5Mac. If it's true, the next iPhone could be named the "new iPhone," instead of the iPhone 5.
