Activision and Treyarch will reportedly be launching the third downloadable content for its first-person shooter video game, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3".

Gotta Be Mobile reported that Activision will be sharing the media presentation stage with Sony Interactive Entertainment at this year's Electronics Entertainment Expo, or E3, to talk about their latest collaboration, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and there is a good chance that the DLC will be released before or during the trade expo.

The publication also said that the Black Ops 3 map pack is currently being worked on, and has given an approximate release date of June, which further heightens the possibility of the release date coinciding with E3.

There is also a chance that the DLC will be released a week after E3, with Gotta Be Mobile predicting a June 21 or June 23 release date for the PS4. Due to Sony's exclusivity deal with Activision, PS4 players get top priority, and the PC and the Xbox One update might come 30 days after.

The DLC will come with four new maps, in which three are brand new locations. One map might be a remake from previous Call of Duty maps.

Each of the DLC map packs also includes a new Zombies chapter. Treyarch studio design director, David Vonderhaar, confirmed that changes have been made to the Black Ops 3 Zombies mode, Express reported.

"65.22.35.7.0 - Mostly Zetsubou No Shima bug fixes incl that instant-death when traveling in sewer. That was not cool, man. Not cool at all," Vonderhaar has said on a recent Twitter post.

COD's latest offering, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, was in the news a few weeks ago due to its trailer getting a lot of negative comments, garnering a whopping 2M "dislikes" on Youtube. The game will be released on November 4, 2016.
