Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment has recently released a patch and live update for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
The multiplayer patch, which is only 73.54MB, resolves known multiplayer issues such as the animation exploit for taunts, and the Party Join issue. The patch will also fix major networking issues, which will hopefully decrease "white-plug" errors and eliminate the appearance of invisible and/or invincible enemies.
Age restriction settings have also been adjusted for Australia, UK, India and many other countries.
The live update, which was deployed a few hours ago, is an update for the Multiplayer Event Weekend. Naughty Dog has announced a special event to coincide with the long Memorial Day weekend. Players will see and increase in Relic Bonus on all challenges by 50%, and the store update now has a 70% discount on all vanity item bundles. The event runs from Friday, May 27, until Tuesday, May 31.
Naughty Dog is planning a whole bunch of new features for Uncharted 4 this summer. According to the Multiplayer DLC Roadmap, the game developer is aiming to add new maps, weapons and boosters, and a new game mode. Also included in the list is a new Mystical, and over 50 new skins and more than 100 vanity items. A Cinema Feature mode will also be introduced, allowing players to review matches and create custom footages. The roadmap also reveals that Naughty Dog has plans to expand the game until Spring 2017, with plans of a Co-op mode in Autumn this year. The game developer stressed that all these additional updates will come at no extra cost, and all extra vanity and gameplay in-game store items will also be unlockable through gameplay.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, was released in May 10, and has sold over 2.7 million copies during its first week, making it the fastest-selling Playstation 4 first-party title to date, according to Playstation Lifestyle.
