Just ahead of E3 2016, the general manager of BioWare, Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has been delayed to early 2017, and new information on the game will be shared at E3 2016.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda", which was originally scheduled for launch in the 2016 holiday period was delayed due to the fact that BioWare needs to provide their team with "the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be." This confirms what EA's CFO Blake Jorgensen already said back in March about a delay.

Flynn has also mentioned that in the new game, players will be given an "unprecedented level of freedom for a Mass Effect experience." Thus, the game has been pushed back a few months and will be expected to launch in early 2017, according to Tech Spot.

The game "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is based on Andromeda Galaxy, in a period after the events of the original trilogy. Although not much is known about the game, yet it will be released on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One platform and will use EA's Frostbite engine.

Meanwhile, Flynn has also confirmed that "Titanfall 2" will be released in Fall quarter this year, according to Game Rant. He has also mentioned that "Mass Effect: Andromeda", though not releasing this year, will be featured in this year's E3. The game will be showcased during EA Play conference and players will be able to see the first in - game footage during the presentation.

Thus, with the lineup of "Mass Effect: Andromeda", "Battlefield 1" and "Titanfall 2", it seems that E3 will definitely be an exciting affair for the gamers this year.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is scheduled to release in early 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with traditional single player campaign.
